The town of Alden offers shopping, restaurants…. and ice cream! Alden is located at the Southeast end of Torch Lake, so you are only a short boat ride away! The town has a harbor that is free of charge to tie up the boat while you eat, shop or explore. To get there (25 minutes) : Take a right off the dock and head upstream into Torch Lake. Once you clear the sandbar, take a right and head Northeast across the lake (use the GPS). Look for the white lighthouse that marks the harbor. Raise your prop as you near the harbor to avoid hitting the rocky bottom.
